Tooth Colored Fillings
Unlike traditional fillings made from silver, mercury, and other metals that may
fracture teeth, today's advanced materials allow us to deliver tooth-colored fillings that look completely natural and blend
with your tooth structure to become virtually invisible.
For over 100 years, dentistry has restored teeth primarily with a material made
of mercury and silver. It has done its' job well, although we have had to live with
its' weaknesses. Those weaknesses consist of cracking teeth due to expansion of
the material and the way the teeth had to be prepared, and restorations turning
black as the silver in the material corrodes.
Now we have many ways to provide tooth colored restorations. We can use adhesives to bond
filling to teeth, reducing leakage, stain, and new decay. Larger areas of damage
can be restored with a bonded custom fabricated porcelain inlay or onlay, called
a CEREC. Discolored or misaligned teeth can often be corrected cosmetically with
Lumineers.
We can provide a healthy and strong smile with these exciting new technologies in

Crowns and Bridges
Crowns
Dental crowns
are more visually attractive because they are made out of tooth-colored materials
– either ceramic or composite resin. These materials are perfect for onlays (partials
crowns) as well as full
crowns and
porcelain veneers. When used for partial crowns instead of amalgam (metal
combined with mercury), you can avoid concerns regarding the health risks associated
with mercury, and these restorations feel and look like part of the natural tooth
structure. Moreover, crown restorations chemically bond to teeth and thus can expand
and contract with changes in temperature, which prevents cracking and breakage from
occurring.

Bridges
Bridges
may be the best answer for those who have seriously damaged or missing teeth. Those
black lines at your gumline, and white, dead-looking crowns, can be a thing of the
past. We use the most advanced materials and technologies available, and can provide
you with a metal free smile. Click here to schedule consultation.
Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment)
Early management of bacterial decay provides for a more conservative treatment option.
If the bacterial decay has progressed to the point where it may damage the dental pulp a proactive measure is needed. In this situation,
root canal therapy is performed. In modern dentistry, root therapy can often
be performed in one comfortable visit.

Dentures

patients take in and out to clean. Poor bone support can often make it difficult
to wear and eat well with lower dentures, but these can often be stabilized with
implants.
